About us

The shop that drives to you.

Rapid Roadside Mobile Mechanic brings professional auto repair to drivers across east Alabama and west Georgia — at home, at work, or on the roadside, at a price we tell you before we start.

Who we are

Based in Phenix City. Working both sides of the river.

We are a mobile auto repair operation run out of Phenix City, Alabama, right across the Chattahoochee from Columbus. The name is on the truck door, the phone number goes to the person doing the work, and the tools travel with us.

Our customers rate us 4.4★ on Google. The reason people call is simple: a shop takes your car and your day, and we take neither. We show up where the vehicle already is, figure out what is actually wrong, tell you what it costs, and fix it.

The work is not limited to easy bolt-on jobs, either. Engine diagnosis, gaskets, swaps and rebuild work are all things we take on — that is what the engine photos on our Google profile are.

What we stand on

Four things we do not compromise on.

Always open

Their own listing says it plainly: always open. A no-start before an early shift or a flat at midnight gets answered, not queued up behind a Monday morning.

We come to you

Home, work, a parking lot, or the shoulder of the road. The tools ride in the truck, so there is no tow bill and no waiting room in the middle of your day.

A price before the wrench

You hear what it costs before anything gets taken apart, and nothing happens without your say-so. No surprises added on at the end.

Real repairs, not just parts swaps

Diagnosis comes first, so you pay to fix what is actually wrong. And when a job runs deep — into the engine itself — that is work we take on rather than hand off.

Coverage

Roughly an hour in every direction.

From Phenix City that reaches north to Auburn, Opelika and LaGrange, east across Harris and Talbot counties, south toward Eufaula and Lumpkin, and west to Tuskegee and Union Springs. 87 communities in all, across 21 counties and two states.

The work

Rated 4.4★ on Google — and these are our own jobs.

Not stock photos. This is engine work off our own bench and the truck that shows up in your driveway.

FAQ

Questions drivers ask before booking.

What hours are you available?

Our listing says always open, and that is how we try to run it — car trouble does not keep business hours. Call or text whenever it happens and we will give you an honest answer on how soon we can get to you.

Do you really come to me?

Yes, and that is the whole point. We bring the tools and parts to your home, your workplace, or the roadside, so you do not need a tow truck or a waiting room.

What repairs can you do on-site?

Roadside and no-start help, on-site diagnostics, batteries, starters and alternators, engine repair and replacement, brakes, oil and fluids, tires and flats, cooling system work, tune-ups and ignition, and suspension and steering.

Do you really do engine work?

We do. The engine photos on our Google profile are our own jobs. Gaskets, seals, timing, short and long block replacement, swaps and rebuild work are all things we take on rather than hand off.

How does your pricing work?

We diagnose the real problem first, then give you a clear, upfront quote before any work begins. You always know the price ahead of time, and nothing gets done that you did not approve.

Do you work on all makes and models?

We service most cars, trucks, and SUVs, domestic and import. Tell us the year, make, and model when you reach out and we will confirm we can help.

How do I book a repair?

Call or text (254) 245-0425 with your vehicle's year, make, and model, your location, and what is going on. We will give you an upfront price and set a time to come to you.

What areas do you serve?

We cover about a one-hour drive from Phenix City, Alabama — 87 communities across 21 counties in both Alabama and Georgia, including Columbus, Auburn, Opelika, Smiths Station, Valley, LaGrange, Eufaula, Tuskegee, and Union Springs.
